Karen Kwok, a seasoned business owner and lecturer, boasts over 30 years of continuous experience in the fashion design industry.
Graduating from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), Karen has held diverse roles including Designer, Production Manager, and Design Manager, contributing her talents to renowned brands such as Zimmermann, Aztec Rose, Table 8, and Fred Bare Kidswear, among others.
With her own label, Kimberley Tonkin the Label, Karen is adept at navigating current trends, conceptualizing designs, and overseeing manufacturing processes across various categories including Bridal wear, swimwear, outerwear, and kidswear.
Embarking on a fashion business journey can be daunting, but Karen is here to guide you through it. Leveraging her wealth of experience, she assists entrepreneurs in identifying the right direction and asking the pertinent questions to lay a solid foundation for success.

Patternmaking /Sewing / Grading Classes
Karen holds a fashion design degree from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), and brings extensive experience in the fashion industry, having worked as a designer and CAD patternmaker for numerous brands, including Zimmermann.
Her classes are one-on-one, allowing her to tailor the lessons to your specific needs. Whether you're interested in flat patternmaking, moulage, or sewing using both domestic and industrial machines, Karen is here to assist.
She caters to all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced students, in both sewing and patternmaking.
